We have joined various multi-stakeholder initiatives and partnerships through which we address industry-specific challenges and opportunities together with other retailers, non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and industry associations.

Since 2018, we’ve been a strategic partner in Fashion for Good - a global community of brands, producers, retailers, suppliers, NGOs, innovators and investors united around shared ambitions of transforming the fashion industry. With our partnership, we aim to identify and grow new innovations and solutions through Fashion For Good’s Innovation Platform.

BESTSELLER collaborates with Conservation International through the Regenerative Fund for Nature to support a landscape-based initiative in South Africa. The programme focuses on wool production and explores the relationship between grazing practices and land degradation. It aims to improve soil conditions, support biodiversity, and strengthen local livelihoods, while contributing to resilience in raw material sourcing.

Our emission targets are validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). SBTi is focused on helping companies reduce their carbon emissions in line with the Paris Agreement.

You can read more about our targets in our latest annual report.

The Sector Cooperation for Circularity (Sektorsamarbejde for Cirkularitet) was launched by the Danish Ministry of Environment, Danish industry associations and a select group of Danish fashion and textile companies.

Among its contents, one of the ambitions is that recycled materials must account for 40 percent of the signatory companies' production fabrics by 2030, whereof at least 10 percent must be textile-to-textile recycled materials. In addition, garments must be designed for multiple ‘lives’ and a larger part of clothing sales in Denmark must come from resale.

The Danish Innovation Fund has granted DKK 106.5 million for a mission-driven partnership, which will support research within the circular economy for plastics and textiles in Denmark until 2050.

BESTSELLER has committed to participate in various projects and will contribute with skills, internal resources and finances. Our Head of Sustainability, Dorte Rye Olsen, partakes in the board of the Partnership within Circular Economy of Plastics and Textiles.
