Polyester is a synthetic fibre used in many different types of products. It is valued for qualities such as strength, flexibility, and wrinkle resistance, making it a practical material for everyday use. As it's primarily made from oil-based raw materials, we're converting more and more of our products to recycled polyester.
Man-made cellulosic (MMC) fibres, such as viscose, lyocell and modal, are made from wood pulp, that is processed into soft and lightweight fibres. They are valued for qualities such as softness, breathability, and a smooth feel. Our approach focuses on sourcing certified and branded MMC fibres and increasing traceability back to fibre producers.
For years, cotton has been a widely used material in the industry, with well-known characteristics for both brands and consumers. However, it also has a significant impact on the planet and people engaged depending on the farming method.
For this reason, we source 100% of our cotton from certified and branded sources – such as organic cotton, recycled cotton, in-conversion cotton, CmiA (Cotton made in Africa) and Better Cotton Initiative.
Certified and branded materials are either organic, in-conversion, recycled or have a third-party brand or certification.
