We have renewed our agreement with the Pakistan Accord for Health and Safety in the Textile and Garment Industry, reaffirming our commitment to safe and responsible working conditions across our supply chain.

The Pakistan Accord is part of the International Accord for Health and Safety in the Textile and Garment Industry, a legally binding initiative that brings together brands, trade unions, and other stakeholders to improve workplace health and safety. Through country-specific programmes, the Accord translates global standards into practical action at the factory level.

Pakistan is one of our key sourcing countries. By continuing our engagement with the Pakistan Accord, we support an approach that prioritises risk prevention, credible inspections, and effective remediation. This work goes beyond audits, recognising that lasting improvements depend on local capacity and collaboration with partners such as the International Labour Organisation.

This agreement delivers value on multiple levels:

For workers: safer buildings, stronger fire and electrical safety, access to training, and trusted channels to raise concerns without fear of retaliation.

For suppliers: clearer expectations, technical support, and a structured path to improve safety standards while maintaining long-term business relationships.

For BESTSELLER: reduced operational risk, greater supply chain resilience, and alignment with international human rights and sustainability standards.

For the industry: collective action that raises the baseline for health and safety, creating impact that no single company could achieve alone.

BESTSELLER has been actively engaged with the International Accord in both Bangladesh and Pakistan, reflecting our commitment to a consistent and responsible approach in our supply chains. Participation in these programmes helps strengthen safety standards for workers and provides suppliers with clear expectations and technical support.

Health and safety are fundamental human rights and a core element of business conduct. Through this renewed agreement, we aim to support meaningful improvements in workplace safety and contribute to a more well-governed garment industry.

Only the facade remains of the historic corner building on Gammeltorv, which, after several years of extensive renovation, now reopens as BESTSELLER’s new flagship store. The renovation has been carried out with a focus on creating a modern retail store, but with great respect for the building's original architecture and preservation value.
While the fashion industry continues to face challenging conditions, BESTSELLER has succeeded in delivering results that point toward progress in its 2024–2025 financial year. These results create the foundation for accelerating the company’s development and transformation. This happens in the year in which BESTSELLER celebrates its 50th anniversary.
