Organisations in Brande and the surrounding areas of this Danish city can apply for donations from BESTSELLER’s local Brande Pool between 1 May and 1 June 2025. The fund is now open to large and small projects aimed at strengthening local initiatives created and driven by local forces.

The nearness to the city and the entire local community means a lot to us at BESTSELLER, and we are committed to doing our part to ensure that local initiatives, projects, and passionate individuals have the best possible foundation to make a real difference. Through the Brande Pool, we support projects in the area each year, and we are especially pleased to continue this tradition in a year when we mark 50 years as a company,” says Kasper Reggelsen, Head of Communications at BESTSELLER.

Bringing local projects to life  

Since 2019, the Brande Pool has provided support to a range of local projects. One of the organisations that received support last year is ‘Børnehuset Tusindfryd’. With the donation, Børnehuset Tusindfryd’ is able to bring the ‘Legeuniverset Fasterholt’ project to life. 

“The support has made a significant difference – not just financially, but also as a recognition of local initiative and volunteer commitment. It provides motivation and reinforces the belief that, together, we can make a difference for children and families in the area,” says Mona Sahlholdt Hansen on behalf of the project and continues:  

“The project has generated great excitement in the local area and received strong support from families and associations. The funding has enabled the creation of a shared meeting point in Fasterholt, focused on play, learning, and well-being.”
