Last year, following the best result in the company's nearly 50-year history, BESTSELLER rewarded all employees with a bonus of an extra month’s salary. This year, BESTSELLER will present an even better result. Therefore, the Danish fashion company has chosen to repeat the bonus payment to all colleagues. 

“Our success this year testifies to the extraordinary effort every BESTSELLER colleague. When we manage to repeat and surpass such a great performance as we did in our last financial year, we would also like to repeat our extraordinary recognition. That's why we're choosing to pay a bonus to everyone this year too. Regardless of whether you're a designer, shop employee, tech expert or work with logistics,” says Anders Holch Povlsen, director of and owner of BESTSELLER. 

A total of 18,000 colleagues will receive the extraordinary recognition, corresponding to a total amount of DKK 300 million.

BESTSELLER's forthcoming annual report tells the story of the strongest result in the Danish company's history. But just as the rest of the industry experiences significant economic challenges, so does BESTSELLER. 

“When we deliver a record financial performance - although we are looking into an uncertain economic situation - we will recognise our colleagues and show our gratitude to them. And even though the past months and the next several will likely become more difficult, we will not stop investing in what is most important to us. Namely our people who help make all the difference in our company,” elaborates Anders Holch Povlsen. 

A total of 18,000 colleagues will receive the extraordinary bonus, corresponding to a total amount of DKK 300 million. 

The bonus is given to colleagues in BESTSELLER, who are employed as of October 6th, 2022.

The bonus follows the past financial year (August 2021 - July 2022), and colleagues who have been employed throughout BESTSELLER's full financial year will receive an extra month’s base salary. 


Colleagues who have not been employed throughout the full financial year will receive a proportional bonus calculated from the time of employment in the financial year. 

Any special bonuses already paid out by brands or countries in recognition of e.g., the record financial year 21/22 will be deducted from the payment at the full discretion of BESTSELLER.
