Over the years, BESTSELLER Aarhus City Half Marathon has become a central event in the Danish city of Aarhus.
Today, the race is a popular focal point for both runners and supporters, creating a lively running celebration in the city. This year’s event was sold out, with more than 13,000 runners taking on the 21.0975 kilometres throughout the streets of Aarhus.
For the past 10 years, BESTSELLER has been a partner and main sponsor of the race organised by Aarhus Motion. With this new agreement – the longest yet between the two parties – the two aim to create an even better race for everyone and strengthen the bond between Aarhus, the participants, and the two organisations.
Updated identity
As part of the new agreement, the race will be renamed to BESTSELLER Aarhus City Half. The race will simultaneously adopt a new graphic identity that strengthens its connection to Aarhus, which serves as the perfect backdrop for the many runners and supporters.
With this updated identity, the race aims to preserve and strengthen its engagement with the local community, which has been a cornerstone of its success. This includes Eastern Jutland’s sports associations that contribute as officials before, during, and after the event, earning financial support for their efforts through a distribution of funds. But also, for the town as an entirety.
