YOUR TEAM
You will be joining the self-organized, agile team working on our servers and databases. We are a part of a larger team of highly skilled engineers and specialists with end-to-end responsibility within access, PKI, IDM, servers, and databases. We are key players in security related, performance, monitoring, and development projects.

We have a hybrid workplace, so your daily work will be carried out from one of our offices (Brande, Aarhus or Málaga) and online from where you are.

YOUR JOB
As an IT Infrastructure Specialist, you contribute to our many ongoing projects, where your input and technical knowledge will be invaluable. 
More specifically, your tasks include:

• Running our IT infrastructure, handling availability and performance issues
• Develop our hybrid infrastructure to always meet the requirements and needs of the business 
• Create solutions that meets security and optimal performance standards 
• Planning and carrying out lifecycle management activities to ensure that all of our infrastructure components are on supported and secured versions
• Challenging the status quo and contributing to the continuous development of our ways of working, the technology we use etc. 

YOUR PROFILE
We hire for attitude and train for skill, so your most important skill is your interest and drive within IT infrastructure, and that you - in collaboration with your colleagues - want to challenge our existing platforms and make sure that BESTSELLER’s IT infrastructure always has the best possible performance. You work with an open mind, and you have a natural curiosity to learn and evolve. You focus on the long term and strive to maintain a “business first” mindset. Whether you have a Master’s degree in data sciences or you are a self-taught infrastructure wizard is not important. But you are either an experienced server generalist or specialist and have worked with Microsoft server technologies on virtual platforms for several years.
You have experience within most of the following areas:

• Creating and running a hybrid IT infrastructure
• Microsoft Windows Server management, on premise and in cloud
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform or another cloud platform
• Infrastructure as code with Terraform and/or Ansible
• Automation competencies within PowerShell, Python and/or Go.

It is an additional plus, if you have some knowledge within:

• Linux servers
• Backup & Restore
• Security and patch management of server OS
• Monitoring of systems
• Container orchestration (Anthos, Docker and Kubernetes)
