YOUR TEAM
You join the network team in Digital Workplace, part of TECH Shared Services in BESTSELLER TECH. We develop and maintain our enterprise network; keeping the digital foundation running for more than 8,000 colleagues in our offices, showrooms and warehouses around the world, while delivering connectivity for business-critical applications and services across our hybrid infrastructure environment.
We are a small, technically strong team, and that gives you real influence. We are taking more of the full architecture picture into our own hands, so you will not just inherit decisions made elsewhere. You will help shape how we design, build and improve our network setup.
Good network solutions rarely come from one person disappearing with a problem and returning with the answer. Here, we talk the hard design decisions through together. We challenge each other, share what we learn and make sure knowledge lives in the team, not in one person’s head.

YOUR ROLE
Some weeks you design. Some weeks you configure, troubleshoot and get things live. Most weeks, it is both.

More specifically, you will:

  • Help us keep the technical health of our infrastructure visible, spotting risks early, bringing them to the team, and driving the work that keeps our foundation solid enough to carry the roadmap
  • Be a key voice in our network architecture decisions and help align the portfolio across teams
  • Take the complex escalations the service desk cannot solve
  • Drive site rollouts end to end, from architecture to go-live, across existing offices, new offices, warehouses and expansions
  • Explain technical trade-offs clearly, so decisions can be understood and made across teams
  • Improve how we document, monitor and maintain what we build, so the whole team gets stronger, not just one person
  • Take your turn in the on-call rotation as part of owning the network in real life.

YOUR PROFILE
You are a hands-on network specialist who still enjoys getting things live. You like working close to the technology, but you also know that strong network solutions are shaped through dialogue, alignment and clear decisions. You bring people with you, share what you know, explain technical trade-offs in a way others can understand and stay calm when priorities compete.
You understand the full life of a network solution: how it is designed, implemented, performs in daily operations and can be built on later. Whether your experience comes from an internal IT setup, consultancy or another enterprise environment, you know that good network work does not end at go-live.

We imagine that you have:

  • Solid hands-on experience with centrally managed enterprise networks
  • Fortinet experience that enables you to contribute from day one
  • Experience designing and implementing network security architecture
  • The ability to run live operations alongside infrastructure projects
  • Good English skills, both written and spoken
  • Experience with automation in a network context is a plus but not a requirement.
