YOUR NEW ROLE
As a Senior Frontend Developer, you’ll be pivotal in driving the development of AI-powered interfaces and applications at BESTSELLER. Your role will involve technical leadership, guiding best practices for frontend development, and working closely with backend developers, data scientists, and DevOps engineers to deliver impactful solutions that empower data-driven decisions across our retail and e-commerce operations.
YOUR IMPACT
In this senior role, you will:
- Design, develop, and enhance frontend features for AI-driven applications, ensuring quality, performance, and scalability.
- Build intuitive user interfaces using React, HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Python, creating applications that are visually compelling and intuitive.
- Apply UI/UX best practices to enhance user satisfaction and engagement, balancing aesthetics with functionality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless frontend-backend integration and high-quality user experiences.
- Monitor, debug, and optimize applications, leveraging your experience to maintain high standards of reliability and responsiveness.
- Guide and mentor other frontend developers in adopting best practices, staying current with industry trends, and contributing to a collaborative team environment.

YOUR PROFILE
You are an experienced, proactive team player with a deep passion for frontend development and UI/UX design. Your background includes:
- A degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- Extensive experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Tailwind, TypeScript, and React.
- Working knowledge of Python and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and experience in developing and maintaining production-grade web applications.
- A keen interest in UI/UX, optimizing user experiences, and a strong commitment to frontend innovation.
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
The following qualifications would also be an advantage:
- Experience with cloud computing platforms like GCP, AWS, or Azure.
- Knowledge of database management (SQL, NoSQL).
- Interest in AI applications and integration of machine learning features into frontend interfaces.
- Familiarity with machine learning concepts and their practical applications in a business context.
- Knowledge about translating business processes into tangible application elements
- Knowledge about Python based web application tools tools such as Plotly Dash or Streamlit.
