We’re looking for an experienced colleague to join our Logistics Data & Reporting team.

As Data Engineer, your job is to extract and transform data that enables BESTSELLER Logistics to make proactive decisions. More specifically your tasks include:
- Creating data transparency
- Tackling large dataset challenges
- Extracting data from a variety of data sources
- Supporting the transition from Excel-extracts to proper data sources
- Implementing monitoring mechanisms to improve data quality
- Automating as much as possible
- Supporting our reporting and performance landscape with data.

YOUR PROFILE
We are looking for an experienced, business-minded candidate with a drive towards show results. You are able to work independently, setting and executing on the ambitions for your focus area. You have an eye for identifying business potential and know how to communicate your knowledge to stakeholders at various levels. You are able to navigate in a fast-paced environment, where it’s paramount that we pull together and everyone contributes with great spirit and positive energy.
Your heart lies within writing SQL that performs and is easy to maintain, so we are looking for the following specific qualifications to the team:
- Some years of experience with SQL
- Knowledge about SQL performance and optimizations
- Experience with designing and implementing Data Warehouse models
- Experience with Azure (Fabric or ADF)
- Experience with GIT
- Strong English skills, both written and spoken.
