As Junior Demand Planner, you will join our NOOS department, which is of significant strategic importance to VERO MODA. We are committed to creating a strong and trendy replenishment program for our customers, one that aligns with market demands and thereby supports our continuous growth. YOUR CHANCE TO INFLUENCE YOUR DEVELOPMENT
As Junior Demand Planner at VERO MODA NOOS, your main goal is to ensure the right stock at the right time. This involves you managing the demand forecast for specific categories/products on SKU levels. More specifically, your everyday tasks will also include:

  • Analysing weekly and monthly sales and stock to optimise the forecasting and expectations of sales, which ensures the best possible flow of goods
  • Making planning decisions based on sales trends and our styles’ lifecycle plans
  • Placing orders together with our procurement teams, buffering stocks at suppliers, capacity bookings, and raw material bookings to secure fast reaction times in our supply chain.
  • In-/out-phasing of styles to our central warehouse based on market needs and new collection performance
  • Ad hoc analysing and creating tools to optimise work processes

YOUR PROFILE
As a person, you have a structured approach to your work and are analytic by nature, enabling you to take advantage of the large amount of data available to the planning team. We are looking for a team player who works well in an environment that is both fast-moving and open. You apply your strong communication skills to ensure that we get to the key decision-making factors and take the appropriate actions. As planning responsible within your categories, it is key that you can work independently and are comfortable making vital and influential decisions. You possess good cooperative skills, by which you easily communicate with both upstream and downstream partners on all levels and across borders. Additionally, you have a proactive approach and are motivated by building relationships with stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Graduated with a degree in business or economics, preferably with a focus on Supply Chain Management
  • Either recently graduated striving to put theory into practice or a few years of relevant experience as a planner within sales or buying
  • Strong analytical and good communication abilities
  • Solid skills in Microsoft Excel 
  • An outstanding drive to influence and improve business and yourself
  • Fluent in English written and verbal
