Sales Representative

Position: Sales Representative, ONLY & SONS
Reports to: Sales Manager
Location: Montreal, Québec

YOUR ROLE
Reporting to the Sales Manager, your primary objective will be to effectively identify, engage, and onboard new business clients while nurturing and enhancing relationships with existing ones. Your efforts will contribute directly to our company's success by promoting our fashion products and solutions to businesses, ensuring their specific needs are met, and providing exceptional service throughout the entire sales cycle.
Your responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Identify and initiate contact with potential clients in the fashion sector through market research, industry events, networking, and other relevant channels.
  • Prepare, present and sell seasonal collections to buyers from wholesale partners, 8 times a year, and support order entry.
  • Act as a business partner to your existing accounts through regular communication to understand their evolving needs, address concerns, and explore upselling opportunities.
  • Schedule market visits and analyze current business to create market strategies.
  • Track customers orders during the collection to ensure the seasonal target is achieved.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, sales activities, and progress in the CRM system.
  • Regularly report on sales performance, pipeline status, and forecasts to the sales management team.
  • Schedule travel arrangements using best judgment to maximize individual travel budget across Canada.

YOUR PROFILE
You're not just a salesperson; you're a people-person. You exhibit a strong work ethic, leadership skills, high energy level, and you’re also team oriented.

  • 2-3 years of proven wholesale experience in the fashion industry
  • Experience in menswear is an asset.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the current wholesale landscape and competitors’ business
  • Ability to build rapport, influence decisions, and negotiate effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in using MS Office Suite and other computer applications.
  • You are results-oriented and are motivated by targets.
  • You have excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
  • You speak both French and English fluently since you'll be dealing with customers from all over Canada.
  • You possess a valid driver’s license and you are able to utilize personal car for work related travel on a daily basis.
  • You can travel domestically and internationally.
