BESTSELLER’s International Business Trainee (IBT) Programme offers ambitious graduates from all over the world the chance to explore the core business areas of an international fashion company and gain valuable working experience in one of nine specialist fields at our headquarters in Denmark and potentially at one of our global offices.
BEING AN IBT IN SALES MANAGEMENT
As an IBT in Sales Management, you will join a team of energetic sales colleagues with a passion for fashion. In close cooperation with your colleagues in Design and Sourcing, you develop BESTSELLER’s products. You constantly ensure the development of the business together with your colleagues, both in Denmark and abroad, and you get unique insights into an international and dynamic sales department along with a strong understanding of BESTSELLER’s business.
At BESTSELLER, Sales has two overall directions: Wholesale and Retail. As an IBT in Sales Management within Wholesale, you will have close cooperation with the local Sales Representatives in your market(s). One of your responsibilities is to continuously serve current and potential customers to create good relations and ensure the constant improvement of our sales.
Being an IBT in Sales Management within Retail means that you, among other tasks, ensure that we have the right products in our chain stores at the right time in close cooperation with District Managers and Partners.
In both Wholesale and Retail, we have colleagues focusing on digital sales meaning that you as an IBT within Digital Sales among other tasks, will centre around following up on sales initiatives on the B2B platform and based on analysis and data take part in the strategic and operational development of the digital B2B business. Within Digital sales, you ensure and optimised product offering, that products and campaigns increase our online market share, creating specialty styles and assortments, monitoring, analysing, and reporting of relevant KPIs.
This year, we are looking for a variety of profiles to join us as IBTs within Sales.
You have a good understanding of general business practices, and you are a natural sales talent. You have an outgoing personality and the ability to build and maintain trustworthy relations. You have a professional and ambitious mindset, and you enjoy taking on responsibility. Some of our IBT positions within Sales require regular traveling and acquiring new customers outside of the office. Your qualifications:
- A relevant bachelor's or master's degree from a university or business school - several years of relevant full-time work experience can in some cases compensate for a lower educational level
- Working experience within retail or sales
- Knowledge of the fashion industry and the latest trends
- Fluent in English - both spoken and written
- Language skills other than English is preferred
- International experience from studying or working abroad

Please note that you cannot record this video beforehand as the recording module is integrated into our application system.
If you advance through the initial interview process, you will, as the last step of our assessment, be invited to join our online TryOut from 22-23 March 2023. Participation in the TryOut is required to be considered for the International Business Trainee Programme.
