BEING AN IBT IN DESIGN
Are you an innovative and creative designer who is passionate about leaving your mark on the wardrobes of thousands of people in a more sustainable way? Would you like to get best-practice experience on how to combine creativity with business sense? Then being an International Business Trainee in Design might be the perfect match for you.
WHY THE IBT PROGRAMME? BESTSELLER’s International Business Trainee (IBT) Programme offers ambitious graduates from all over the world the chance to explore the core business areas of an international fashion company and gain valuable working experience in one of nine specialist fields in our headquarters in Denmark and potentially at one of our global offices.
BEING AN IBT IN DESIGN
An IBT career in Design is the right match for you if you want to experience how design and business come together in an international context and, at the same time, leave your mark on BESTSELLER’s future collections. During the two years as an IBT, you will experience all aspects of the design process - from brainstorming to the final product. You will be able to explore and select the greatest fashion trends from the international catwalks, subcultures, web bloggers, etc., and transform them into sellable yet aesthetic new fashion styles.

Each brand has its own design team focusing on the individual brand’s target group. Throughout each of the teams, you will experience a creative and dynamic atmosphere mixed with the right amount of business sense and flair for commercial design.
Depending on your interest and skills, your daily tasks will include trend research and trend forecast as well as creating sketches, fitting, approvals, and working intensively with Adobe Illustrator. In all positions you will quickly build a broad network as you communicate with our international suppliers, collaborate with buyers, and receive feedback and comments from our sales teams to learn about our market needs and demands.
